Shame it looks like ROnaldo has to come off, you want to see the best playing at their best in the big games. Payet's tackle on him was clumsy, the one 30 seconds before should have been given though.

There is no God. I'm convinced of it now. Portugal player handballs, but French player gets Clat's card, leading to series of plays ending in Portugal scoring.

Portugal winning really summed up what was a terrible tournament filled with negative tactics and a very low standard of football.

The 24 team format didn't work, and having 3 teams go through in the groups (bar 2) just set the negative tactics tone from the start.

They have to reduce the number of teams.
