And it's a good job Big Matt buried the second chance or he'd be getting sstick for a weak first effort.
Having said that to disallow his first 'goal' seems ludicrous. What was he expected to do? Ask the bloke politely to step out of the way?

We were sitting right behind the goal and Smith was being man handled every corner or free kick. When he netted the chance in the first half he was just stronger and showed more desire for the ball than the defenders. Should have stood in our opinion. I also thought Macdonald showed some real class and strength. We were hanging on late in the game but should have been out of sight by then. COYW

I agree, but at least we are creating chances. We need to dot the eyes and cross the tees, and hope that Jok gets his targets before the end of the month.

definitely,yes. Creating lots of good chances too, not just half ones. It's a good sign. With possibly our best 11 still to come.

Just watched the full 90+ replay. Good job Smith was not wearing one of the cheap, shoddy replica shirts. It would have been in tatters in the 1st half.
