I remember when he signed for us from Sheff United he was 28 and I thought he was old. I was 16 or 17. But a good defender if I remember but I don't remember much about his career. I remember the song we used to sing a Cat Stevens one I think. RIP Reg

Rest easy Reg. Solid was his middle name , made of the real stuff.

RIP Reg, he was an absolutely solid and totally dependable defender.

Very sad. Unfortunately as one gets older more of ones contemporaries pass away.

Underrated IMO. Very good dependable player, one of my favourites of that era

Sad news, Reg was a good, reliable centre half who served the club well.

Part of the early teams I saw and so will always remain a legend. All the best to those around him.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Supermitch

Saw him play when I was young.  Always sad when a member of the Fulham family passes on.

I will always remember Reg as a steady, reliable defender, no frills just a good pro. RIP Reg.

FulhamStu

Watched Reg and Jimmy Dunne every game home and away for 2 seasons.  One of my favourite Fulham teams, not the best but proper Fulham.
