3 PLAYERS FULHAM SHOULD SELL BEFORE TOMORROW'S 11:30PM DEADLINE

Fulham have made an excellent start to the season, currently sitting in 2nd position and are undefeated in all competitions including a cup win against Middlesbrough.

Fulham were shocking last season and were nearly relegated, but the goals from strike duo Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele kept them up.

But both of these strikers were lost in big money deals this summer with Dembele joining Scottish Champions Celtic whilst McCormack joined Championship rivals Aston Villa.

Fulham have been very busy in the transfer window though bringing in exciting attackers Floyd Ayite and Sone Aluko.

But the defence was a shambles last season for Fulhamm amongst the worst in England, and that is the area Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has strengthened most.

Michael Madl, Scott Malone, Denis Odoi and the loan signing of Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas have all bolstered the defence massively with former Brentford goalkeeper David Button solid between the sticks so far.

Fulham have also got rid of a lot of the deadwood in their squad including Jamie O'Hara and Amorebieta giving it more of a streamlined feel.

Here are THREE players they should sell before tomorrow's 11:30pm deadline....

SEAN KAVANAGH

The 22- year-old defender is yet to make an impact since breaking into the match day squad a number of seasons ago.

After Luke Garbutt and James Husband arrived last season, Kavanagh found himself on the bench, rarely making an appearance and joined League 2 side Mansfield on loan where he put on an average 7 displays.

This season Denis Odoi is already preferred to Kavanagh who will find first team chances limited again, so a move would suit all parties.

The 22-year-old undoubtedly has talent but sitting on the bench at Fulham must be hurting his confidence.

RICHARD STEARMAN

When the usually reliable Stearman was signed by Fulham from Wolves at the start of last season, fans thought it would help bolster their shaky defence.

But Stearman struggled to consolidate himself in the first team and the Fulham defence was a shambles last season.

His partnerships with Ream or Bodurov looked shaky and Fulham were forced to heavily invest in defenders this summer.

The arrivals of Madl on a permanent means Stearman has been limited to the bench with Kalas and Madl the main defensive partnership, and they have been excellent so far.

TIM REAM

Tim Ream is in a similar position to Stearman having been purchased at the start of last season, to play left back but found himself playing centre back as well.

International commitments and injuries cut short his season and Fulham fans will have felt his performances last season were well below par.

Denis Odoi has been outstanding at left back so far and Ream hasn't had a look in except a cup appearance.

Like Stearman he may look for a new club to get some game time.

3 PLAYERS FULHAM SHOULD SIGN BEFORE TOMORROW'S 11:30PM DEADLINE

Fulham have had a fantastic start to the 2016/17 campaign and they currently find themselves second in the Championship and into the third round of the EFL Cup.

That has come despite a number of a few high-profile exits and almost a total overhaul of the playing squad by head coach Slavisa Jokanovic.

12 new players have arrived at the club this summer and its no surprise to see the team being a completely different prospect on the pitch but credit must go to Jokanovic for integrating them so quickly.

However, the Serb has complained in the media about his frustrations at the clubs recruitment process, while also making it clear that he feels his team is not yet complete.

The former Watford boss is not resting on his laurels despite their unbeaten start to the campaign and fans are anticipating an exciting deadline day that could potentially see a couple of new faces at Craven Cottage.

Here are THREE players Fulham should sign before tomorrow's 11:30pm deadline...

CHRIS MARTIN

The Derby County striker has been linked with the club on a number of occasions in recent seasons with their latest bid, an improvement on the £5m turned down previously, is on the table, according to Sky Sports.

With the recent arrivals of James Wilson on loan and Matej Vydra at Derby, Martin may find himself down the pecking order under Nigel Pearson, who has at times preferred Darren Bent over the Scotland international.

The Cottagers are in need of a new striker given that they lost both Moussa Dembele and Ross McCormack this summer, and Martin could be a perfect fit.

BEN MARSHALL

Another player to have continuously been linked with a move to Craven Cottage is Blackburn Rovers winger and right-back Ben Marshall.

Anyone who has seen the 25-year-old at his best will know what he is capable of and he would certainly be a quality addition for Slavisa Jokanovic as well as a versatile one.

Tempting Rovers into selling the former Leicester man at such a late stage would be challenging but if the offer is good enough, then Marshall could be heading to London before 11:30pm tomorrow.

FRAIZER CAMPBELL

The Crystal Palace striker has been linked with a move to the Championship for some time given his lack of first-team opportunities at Selhurst Park.

Many thought that Campbell would get a chance to impress this season with the departures of Marouane Chamakh, Emmanuel Adebayor and Dwight Gayle.

However, the arrivals of Christian Benteke and Loic Remy have put his future into doubt and a move to Craven Cottage could help him reignite his stagnating career.

Stearman set for Wolves return
by DAN on AUGUST 30, 2016

Fulham defender Richard Stearman is close to completing a swift return to his old club Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to a report in the Express and Star newspaper tonight.

The former Wolves skipper joined Fulham from the Midlands club last year but has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of fellow central defenders Michael Madl, Tomas Kalas and Ragnar Sigurdsson this summer. Stearman is reportedly poised to have a medical at Wolves tonight ahead of a proposed loan move back to his old side.

The 29 year-old's original departure from Molineux was controversial after he had made 234 appearances for the club in a seven year spell and was voted both the fans' player of the year and players' player of the season in 2014-2015. Stearman, who is under contract at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2018, has struggled to recapture that form in London, making 30 appearances as Fulham battled against relegation from the Championship last term. His only first-team opportunities this season have come in the EFL Cup victories over Leyton Orient and Middlesbrough.

Burnley Favourites For Jeff Hendrick But No Fulham or Wolves Bid For Chris Martin

Burnley are now in pole position to sign Jeff Hendrick from Derby County, though the Rams have had no contact from Wolverhampton Wanderers or Fulham over Chris Martin.

Hendrick had been tipped for a switch to Hull City, but it is Sean Dyche's men who are leading the chase for the Derby man.

According to the BBC, a fee of around £10m has been mooted, a figure which Derby believe represents good business for the Irishman.

Meanwhile, despite Wolves and Fulham being strongly linked, no offer has yet been made for Martin by either of the two clubs, which means they are leaving it late if they do intend to swoop for him before the transfer window slams shut tomorrow night.

Hendrick is a product of Derby's youth set-up and rose through the ranks to make his senior debut in 2010.

The midfielder has been capped on 25 occasions by the Republic of Ireland since winning his first cap in 2013 on the back of good form with the Rams.

Martin meanwhile joined Derby, initially on loan, from Norwich City in 2013.

A product of Norwich's youth system, the striker has won eight caps for Scotland.
