A question for the Academy experts about a player

My mum works in a primary school and a few years back one of the boys in her class was scouted by Fulham. She knew he'd signed for the club as he was in the team that walked around the Cottage parading a trophy not that long ago.

She reckons he was in the same team as Ryan Sess and is about 16 now. She just wondered if anyone knew whether he was still with the club and whether he had any chance of breaking through like the other youngsters have.

Cameron Thompson is his name.

He played and scored in the u18 ( i think) game at the end of July against FC Aesch which ended 5-0 i think.

I think he has come on as sub a few times for the U18s in the last couple seasons, striker I believe

Always cheers me up watching youngsters play like that, so little cynicism and so much spirit, A great clip for the lad and his team mates.

Mourinho (16) is obviously well regarded. He signed an Academy Scholarship Agreement earlier this summer. He is injured right now (out 3 weeks).

I don't think young Beckham was really a serious prospect. I think he is pursuing other interests.

Cameron is still with the Club, U18s now. Had a tough last two seasons with injuries but is doing well and scoring consistently now..

thanks for your help longleigh. My old dear reads the board and has seen your info. Just noticed you only have 23 post count. You should post more as you are clearly knowledgeable on the team/academy and add something to the board
