Don't think it came out right from phone. Woodrow can't make it worse up top can he. And I've put cairney down the left and Kebano down the right so that they can get some decent balls over. Plus I'm playing with a cm instead of two dm's. And also having Kebano down the right should allow odoi to be more adventurous, and actually have someone infront of him that he can link up with, as cairney wonders in far too much for my liking. Sess starts as I just think he is better

Don't understand, Smith hasn't played for 2 weeks and hasn't been that great. Martin has played once and scored for Scotland, I know who I would have selected, might concede that Smith could have come on as a sub, but doesn't matter now, we lost today!!

All I'm asking for is a back five of Button, Odoi (because of lack of options), Kalas, Sigurdsson and Sessegnon. And a front six containing Kebano and Martin.

I leave the rest up to Jok to decide how many changes to make and who to stick with. We have many decent players knocking on the door, ready to step in for those who let the team down badly today.

Why martin in the first place? Woodrow is far more mobile, and as proved again today, big lumps aren't working with our tactics. Now martin might be an upgrade on Smith or he might not, but I still don't think we would play to his strengths. Id be just as happy to give piazon a go up top instead of woody

Ben after reading all your comments about Mr Smith, I can't believe that you believe Martin won't turn out to be a better player and more prolific scorer for us? Piazon rather than Woodrow, isn't that clutching at straws?? Frustration is taking over, we all know we are lacking a little up front!!

His is loan fee, and if you think for one minute Woodrow will start
Ahead of him you've been on the Hooch..lol

probably won't, but he should imo. Unless slavisa has a serious rethink, he will get just as much service as Smith, and have just as much effect. Something has to change. Can't rely on midfield to pop up with something special everyweek. Need to start looking like a threat from the front.

And those who compared Martin to Smith don't watch enough football. He is shorter, faster, more apt at linking up play, and is a better finisher.
