According to Sky they are confident of beating off Liverpool
to sign Sesse in January.
Well I've got news for Spurs, Sesse loves Fulham and wants to
be part of a successful side here...So there you are Levy.. :031:

Really hope Sessegnon stays but if Spurs really want him then we must ensure that they pay a top price and then we have to ensure that money is well spent on a proven striker.

Spurs are so nosey, if they took Cocaine, they would sniff up half of Equador.

And you should know.

Have a feeling we can't do too much in terms of expecting a load of money for him until he signs a pro contract when he turns 17 which I think is in the summer. Before they turn 17 I don't think you can stop clubs snatching your skilled youngsters for peanuts

So long as we are in this division he will be off sooner or later. Even if we are in the Prem it will probably happen. All we can expect, hopefully, is a big fee and a sell on clause.
Whether the funds are reinvested in the team is a whole different argument

Hopefully he keeps getting game time. Someone mentioned huw Jennings said his head is screwed on and he is a good lad. Getting game time all season for us is not going to hurt him and he will benefit from that. We may benifit from selling him early which would be good business but a shame. He won't start for them for a few years I'd imagine .

God it's depressing thinking of all the potential we've had and lost in recent years... started that fateful transfer window when we lost Dembele and Dempsey to Tottenham on the last day of the window... since then we've seen Hyndman, Tankovic, Hoesen, Dembele, Roberts all go on to other things. Wish this club had it's act together.

We simply need to be in the Prem otherwise of course this will keep happening every year. Even if we were in that league we can still lose them if they are truly England/international potential players. The only hope to keep them is by being a Premier League club again.
First game: Fulham 4 Burnley 0, December 12th 1998.

I too have heard that he wants to stay and sign a pro contract in the summer with us. So we will probably have him this season in full at least!

Mince n Tatties

As I said in OP he loves Fulham, He will sign for us.
Let them all come and look.

Spurs supporters are god's gift to the planet. Every single one of them. Always have been, always will be. They always tell you how important they are, so it must be fact.

If Fulham have players of great quality or potential they will always be picked off by the bigger clubs. It is not just a Fulham thing but any club outside the top 6 prem clubs.

It does beg the question is it worth any clubs having an academy when all the quality get picked off for small amounts of money, whoever is in charge has to allow clubs to lock in academy players into long contracts and that means clubs like Spurs have to pay a decent fee. Also as well as sell on clauses the buying club should have financial rewards for the seller for goals scored and/or international performances. This gives clubs a reward if the player does not move on after leaving but turns out to a great player.
