Missed a tackle by the half way line in the 1st half and was caught well out of position, my thread kept breaking up badly, but BZ looked ok, and Shorey. What a miss by the paddy.Just glad to get the points, but we made Pompey look good.

I'll take missing a tackle at the half way line against any team from a CB any day. If that is all he did wrong, he must have had a fantastic day at work. Just shows how important our H&H partnership really is. Bye, bye Smalling. Don't mess with that again Roy, because it works and it is proven.

Have to say that Hughes return to the centre seemed to give everybody at the back confidence. Brede was much better but still short of his best and dare I say the Big Aussie looked on form (bar one kick) So MOM was Hughes. Just for being there.

I think Riise was the man of the match, for keeping the bench nice and warm for when the others came off. I believe he also made the tea

I would go with Duff today. Looked solid going both ways and really mixed them up. His late run defending at the death just finished it off for me. Real class and worked his axx off for 93 minutes. I also think Baird should get a mention too. How many men would take the switches he has and still put out such an effort. Not our best player but maybe our most tolerant one. Glad that Roy stuck with him.

Shorey MoM Okaka looks promising. I thought things got better once Dickyboy came on. Kelly wasn't that bad and nobody near me was giving him any serious grief. Brede was dodgy got caught out too far up field several times and some of his passing was way off.

To be fair to Kelly he had more pressure than anyone else today, but I would have wanted him to show better for it than he did. I'm set to be a bit harder on him as we share the same name. Can't have him casting dispersions on the family now can I?
