Is it fair to say...

that the one clear and main difference between premiership and championship actually relies heavily down to the quality of the back of house staff at a club?

You see a team like huddersfield who are doing so well, but who have hardly a well known name between them and seem to be doing better than before without Jordan Rhodes.. and when you think about it, players can always excel dependent on their environment more than anything and that environment more than anything is built and designed by those at the back of house. When you think of what took us out of the premiership more than anything you could possibly point to Al Fayeds desire to not invest as heavily and then the loss of people who knew the club amazingly well like former board members who left or even the likes of Ray Lewington who got what it meant to be Fulham and what it meant to the fans.

Could it be argued that simply put if our senior management were making the right decisions then that we would be closer to or back in the premiership by now? And if so, in what areas of their remit and work are they not performing well enough in and in a way which differentiates them from those we had who helped us stay in and at times excel in the premiership and related competitions? I can't help but think some of Khan's board appointments (like craig kline, tony khan and Mark Lamping) who seemingly know nothing about Fulham let alone Football have seen our powers of returns and our ability to compete diminshed. Their professional capacities whilst impressive aren't in english culture, aren't in football and that's a huge jump from Marketing in the U.S. - I fear to much emphasis is being put on our players and management when the buck must be theirs at a point where they're not performing well enough and in the right areas.
