But, we played 2 up top and scored goals.....this season we are average (at best) and playing 1 up top, our possession play is not threatening, and our confidence in front of goal is low......what to do?

Last season we had Ross Mccormack and Moussa Dembele now we have Cauley Woodrow and Matt Smith. We dont have the players to play two up top.

That was my question... What to do?

We have done it, transferred McCormack  and Dembele , signed Martin in desperation , put a load of money in the bank and started a Cottage goal famine. Not much more can be done for a while.

play 4-6-0    might pick up a few 0-0 games. Couild be a bit dull though.

Not a lot we can do as far as our squad is concerned, we didn't replace our strikers adequately & we knew that would be a big issue. Our transfer people thought differently for some reason so most of the blame lies with them.

Going forward towards January when Khan can over promise & under deliver all over again, we need to cut out a few of our many passes & be a little more direct, try & get the ball in to the danger zone with 3, 4 or 5 passes rather than 10-15 when every opposition player is back defending.
