I picked up a Man & his Son (There Wife/Mother was at the Hotel), who were on holiday in London from Dundee and were Dundee supporters..... They'd never been to an English game before, and were very impressed with the food at the Cottage, getting a beer, the atmosphere (they were in the Hammy end), the ground & condition of the pitch.....but the thing that stuck out for me was they said how polite everyone was....people apologising after swearing (the son was around 7)..... Well done to the supporters of Fulham, I think we gained 2 new supporters last night.

This got me thinking.....do we have a sister club in Scotland?

I believe at one time, don't know about now that
Aberdeen fans had a soft spot for us,think it was to do
with the Leggat connection..

They were telling me McDonald played for Dundee

Southdowns White

I did see Gordon Strachan at the game last night, was amazed home small he was.

Dixie

Got to be St Mirren!!

They have always been my Scottish team and they play in black and white...
Let's make it happen
"Dixie" Dean Coney - the legend lives on!

WhiteJC

the Maestro lived in Edinburgh so Hibs?

Holders

Arbroath's a nice little ground right next to the sea like we're next to the river. Nice little town, too.
Non sumus statione ferriviaria

Up till recently I would have suggested Dunscorin or Elgin, who also play in black & white and aren't  very good. But last two games we are now the form team in the league, and considering they have our ex's Roberts and Dembele I suggest we twin with Celtic.

Dunscorin - that's not a real team name is it?  I would have thought that's the name of Marlet's house when he played for us...

mrmicawbers

Forfar and Falkirk. Can't think why

He was a season ticket holder at Hearts.
He be looking down and growling at you now..lol

St. Andrews White

I'm in St Andrews, so my local Scottish side is Dundee United... They're as mediocre as us!
The Intertoto might not exist anymore, but that doesn't matter. We'll still win it again.

Cowdenbeath.....no idea where they play, but they'll do for me

Zendra

Motherwell .  Like the name and the colours.

BestOfBrede

St Johnstone has been my liking, for a reason I have no clue?
I believe they play in the black n white, also

SG

Partick Thistle - the jags. Their fight for survival against the big Glasgow clubs is the epitome of FFC in London

I knew the local council grounds man. The biggest maintenance issue for the club . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sea gull and Canada goose poo on the pitch. Not a lot of people know that.

Montrose is like going through a secret door in the High Street which was wierd and Forfar is right next to the open air livestock market, equally strange.

Elgin is very nice but purely for the headline I still look out for the team that got
'Supercallygoballisticcelticareatrocious'

And their mascot , Kingsley, is great.  Billy would run a mile.

(Have been trying to post a picture of Kingsley but with no success.  Perhaps someone with more experience on the forum could oblige?)
