If we get knocked out then no we don't want the inconvenience of a cup run. If we win then a cup run would be great. If it is an either/ or situation then promotion every time. But winning is good  and habit forming. We take what we can.

Have to be honest and say that I would love to see us play at Wembley in a cup final. Would be an incredible experience.

Just imagine we had knocked Liverpool out of the cup with an early goal by a centre back, kept a clean sheet and were now awaiting Monday's draw with interest.

We would all have the feel good factor and fans and players would be waiting for the next Championship match full of confidence.

We should try to win every match we play. This "distraction from promotion or relegation" is rubbish. Winning is a habit; we shouldn't try to break it ourselves.
