I am raising funds for the Royal Marsden!

I would juet like to make a shameless plug for an event I am taking part in next month to raise funds for the Royal Marsden. It will involve walking the 14 miles between their two hospitals. Perhaps with a couple of pub-stops along the way :)

Why?

Well, as some of you know, my boy has been suffering from an unusual form of cancer and the treatment he has been receiving at the Marsden has been outstanding, and quite literally a life-saver.

So any donations, no matter how small, will be gratefully received :)

Very happy, and very grateful to all of you who have chipped in to help me achieve the target. Fulham supporters - one of a kind :)

Unbeknown to me my darling daughter went on to our page and increased the target as she has also been doing things at her school so if you get another update towards the day of the march saying that we have reached our goal then that is the reason why!

I've got to say the club have been tremendous - there was a tweet from the club a couple of days ago and there will also be a mention of this in Tuesday's matchday program. A MASSIVE thanks to Sarah Brookes for arranging all of that.

And hats off to my employer as well, all this coincided with a vote at work on who we will be having as our designated charity of the year and my nomination won. The good thing is that the company will match employee donations for one of the events that we will be doing during the course of 2017.

Again, thanks to everyone, my boy has actually been quite moved by it all in his own unique teenager kind of way :)
