Winner was Aluko with his 2nd win of the season.

Really mix bag of scores, but sums up game really

Aluko was sooo good yesterday , I couldn't believe it when he was subbed
1975 just leaving home full of hope

Aluko for me his ball to set up the opening goal plus hes always busy not just offensiley ,really works for the team!

Mince n Tatties

Funny how people see things differently,Aluko yes but Kebano how long on pitch, yes he got winner but above Button who made the saves at vital times or it could have been a loss.

Agree with you wholeheartedly.  Never less than one hundred percent of effort for the team and such a good link player.

4.68 too much for Martin
So 4.69 was even more excessive (lol). He got that for his 2nd half performance as we were glad to get rid of him, too many words can be used to describe his attitude, none of which are allowed to be used on this forum, except maybe unacceptable!

Odoi score surprises me. Obviously scored a wonderful goal, but apart from that I kept remarking at the game how he was well out of position on quite a few occasions. I don't think either full-back got any joy yesterday.

Absolutely agree with Aluko though. Everything he tried came off, and was involved in almost everything we did well.

Cyriac was marginally better than Martin for me. Won't judge him after two sub appearances, but he was handled well by Wigan's defence yesterday. I think rather than that sub changing the game, it was removing the unnecessary holding midfielder and playing with four direct attackers - Cyriac, Aluko, Ayite and Kebano. That's when we really took control in the second half and I felt we could win.

Thanks Mike for the hard work in continuing to do this every match.  Just a thought - should there be a minimum time a player is on the pitch?  If someone comes on with say 5 or 10 mins to go they should normally be given a n/a.  It's difficult to compare their contribution with a player on the pitch for the full 90+.

its something I thought about but where do you draw that line?
What I do have and will produce at the end is ratings with and without sub appearances

Quite right, very difficult.  Personally I'll give a n/a for a sub with less than 10 mins or so, although they could of course be very influential in that time.
