Poor show from FFCTV

I always supported the club's rights (even duty) to charge for match highlights and replays.  But it is just downright wrong not to show the 90 minutes on the Sunday after the game.
Due to the demands of my working life I rarely have time in the week to watch the full 90 from the previous Saturday as well as listening to GJ's midweek commentaries.  By the time Fulham releases the game, it's old news anyway.
If the club is charging, the management should make it their business to release the replays at a time when people can see them.  Is there any good reason why the games cannot be shown on Sundays?

Might be down to Newcastle supplying the recording as its their responsibility

I appreciate your stance, and that it is of severe frustration for you, but the club won't see the logic of one person unless it's a shared logic with many others.

There are multiple other influences too.

Firstly, whoever has recorded the game, may not give the club the footage, or due to competition rights against broadcasters may not be able to show them the day after... or they may not want to pay for someone to work on Sunday if there's no game...

I personally can't blame them for not having them up the very next day, but then again I don't pay for FFCTV which I think is a disgrace as it is anyway.  I think there's generally probably a reason though as to why they're not up when you want them the day after.

You could always write to the club?

I have to agree, this afternoon I'd set aside to watch but nothing and thats' me done for the week unless
I watch it instead of listen to Blackburn.
I'm no wiz kid but surely it's hard to edit 90 minutes than to just show it .
No doubt there's a creditable reason but a 'simple' "sorry for the delay"  etc

Fulham is a 24 hours club is it not
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

I have noticed that home matches are released very quickly. If I remember correctly, the Leeds match was released that evening, if not early in the morning the next day. I am inclined to go with MJG on this one.

The match highlights certainly took longer to be available than usual today.  They are normally up by 12 noon but took noticeably longer today and the full 90 minutes is still not there.  Whilst we're mentioning all this I have to say that listening to GJ yesterday was disappointing as it was so far behind the Sky Sports updates - I knew Ream had missed even before GJ announced we had a penalty!!

As I recall, the club's management said the League forced them into charging for highlights and replays.  Perhaps it would have been a good idea to make the deal conditional on timely delivery of the tapes by all clubs involved in this deal.
As stated in my original post, I was always happy to pay for the ability to watch the replays.  But if they do not arrive on the weekend of the game, I no longer believe I am getting the value they sold.

P.S.  Does anybody have an email address at the club to which I can send my views?

When they charged I refused to pay. I thought that I would eventually give in. Only a small amount and what was the point of being without GJ and the matches?

Well I have to say I have not missed it a bit. The latest scores come in ahead of the GJ commentary on both BBC internet and BBC final score that starts half 2 on the red button. The highlights can usually be found very soon after the game on line.

I appreciate those living far afield don't have the same options. But I have to admit to not missing the live, behind the times commentary or the overdue highlights and 90 minutes. As for missing the interviews. Not in the slightest.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I miss the highlights - it's more of  game than you could normally see if you haven't been to the game, but I'm the same - I've never had the time or could be bothered to watch the full 90 minutes and the extra stuff is normally quoted in articles anyway.

Delays in live comentrary can be for various reasons. Anyone who has watched a game on TV with say radio five, talksport or local playing alongside it will have had a delay.
The BT infrastructure can be an issue also and has caused outages for club and radio companies before.
Band with for press wifi can be a issue.

Also with the 90 mins we are reliant  home clubs coverage.
You may not have noticed but our home games ha e more camera coverage than many others. That's because we pay for three cameras at every home game. Cost of one home game to film, editing put up is in the region of 5-8k.
We also look to sync the GJ commentary onto the highlights and 90minutes.which I can imagine is a but of a pain that times.

Also of course listening online abroad you will have emote of a delay than watching just text updates due to the amount of data being sent.

So is there a going to be a 90 minute replay available on FFCTV, I too was hoping to watch it this afternoon?

It's interesting to see that, in the highlights, the camera was turned onto the Fulham fans after the second goal for quite a few seconds, and at the end of the match, too.  That would suggest to me that there was a Fulham influence in those pieces of camerawork.

The second goal resulted straight from a Shelby free kick, saved by David Button who then released the ball quickly and accurately.  I think he deserved a half-assist for that !  It's always great to have G. Jim's enthusiastic/ecstatic reactions for the goals to accompany the video of same.

90 minute replay now available, thank God for that or Newcastle. I always watch the full replays if I didn't I wouldn't feel qualified to comment on matches or the players, well worth £2.99 a month!!! Got a feeling we are going to win 3-1 and miss a penalty.

Just finished watching the 90 mins. FFC could not show it until Newcastle had put up their footage.
The game was a masterclass we have not seen since our promotion to the Prem under Tigana.

I'm still not sold on "the league made me do it" stuff. At least a dozen times this season, highlights were available on youtube channels OF OUR OPPONENTS the evening [in England] of match day.

This was a thoughtless miscalculation and a slap in the face for the thousands of Fulham supporters who can't walk to the ground every home match.

I wonder why the club thought that they and those that do go to the ground and pay the entrance fee shouldn't subsidise those who want to watch on-line for free?
