My main point was I owuld have taken the Europa League final over a wembley apperance in the Checkatrade or what ever it is called trophy.

Slightly off topic, but the train on which I was travelling last Saturday evening was joined by Bristol Rovers supporters. Many were drunk - their boorish antics and crude singing upsetting many others. There was, however, one little gem of a ditty that made me chuckle.

Sung to the tune of Abba's 'Take a Chance on Me', it went:

When you're all alone...
On the terraces
Where must you be?
Checkatrade Trophy...

Let's be thankful that we haven't had to participate in a competition as unwelcome as this for 20 years now - Wembley appearance or no Wembley appearance.
