But we are short a RB if you allocate Odoi to the left, we need 4 fullbacks in total. Odoi and Fred (injury prone) are clearly fullbacks but Sess is partly a winger, one more signing required IMO.

How accurate is it to describe Fredericks as 'injury prone'? Admittedly he missed the start of last season with an injury which kept him out for a dozen games, but prior to that and subsequently injury has caused him to miss only one game. He had no reported injuries at either Middlesbrough or Millwall. Many players have, during the course of their career, an injury serious enough for them to miss ten or so games.

We are sometimes too quick to stick labels on players. Those who score an own goal, give away a penalty or get a red card (all hazards of the defender's trade) can be similarly unjustly labeled.

Sheyi Ojo? To be fair as much as I rate him I don't think we need another winger. Piazon,Kebano,Ayite and Aluko more than enough to get us through 2 wing positions for the season.

Why would a player on hols open up and tell someone they've never met before - anything?
Why would Slavisa have played Malone for so many games if he didn't want him in the first place?

And that accords with what his brother-in-law posted on TIFF (having broken the news a fortnight before it happened)....that the club made no attempt to retain him.  The same facts from both reports, just differing nuances. Presumably he wanted to go, but would have liked to have his cake and eat it via the club begging and trying to bribe him not to -- which they didn't.

Malone and his agent, used the Huddersfield interest, to try and win a bigger and better contact from Fulham, off the back of this seasons successes. Apparently, a couple of players also tried this.

For Malone, it was a win/win situation, stay for more money, or leave for more money.

I heard that Tunni was told in January he could leave if he could find a club and this was reiterated in April time.

Shame as I always thought he was a good squad player, RB and Defensive Midfield, just never worked here for him. Had a few good games but not enough
