Yes I have heard of him before. I remember he nearly joined Everton last summer but they were put off by the 17mill price tag. Wouldn't come cheap but if we got him would be a top signing. Highly rated in France. He's quick but his control of the ball is also impressive.

One of my mates just described him as 'If Sone Aluko could shoot'. Not sure how accurate that is but there you go.

Negative way of looking at it. Positive is if IT DID come off. It would be brilliant.
Great to see the board are looking to spend big on a quality striker. It should be a priority.

Sure, but realistically, a player who Utd and Everton looked at, at a club playing Europa league football. It would be amazing but it's hard not to be sceptical.

Certainly looks the business.
Seems we are going shopping in France. Any of the three would be good.
Mounie would be tops to my mind. Predatory and of a size to dismay any of the Championship 'hard men'.
Rolan looks like Mounie's lunch but also looks pretty deadly in the box and has some skills. 25 caps for Uruguay is impressive.
Fonte's a bit different as he can play off the front man.

FULHAM LAUNCH BIDS FOR A TRIO OF EUROPEAN STRIKERS TO SOLVE PROBLEM POSITION

According to Get West London, Fulham have launched bids for three separate strikers over the last couple of days as they try to rush through a deal to solve their crisis position.

Fulham lacked a top goal scoring striker last year despite reaching the Championship play-offs.

Their main striker choice was Chris Martin, who was on loan from Derby County and does not seem keen to return.

Slavisa Jokanovic is actively looking for a striker to solve his problems up front and has now lodged bids for three strikers across Europe.

Firstly, Fulham launched a bid for prolific Montpellier forward Steve Mounie.

The 22-year-old scored 15 goals in Ligue 1 last season and has been linked with a Premier League move.

However, Fulham are keen to nip in ahead of their rivals by testing the water with an early bid for the target man.

Fulham also submitted a bid for Braga striker Rui Fonte.

The 27-year-old scored 11 goals in the Portuguese top flight this season and is highly rated.

Fonte is the brother of West Ham star Jose Fonte and he previously played for Arsenal and Crystal Palace so he could be tempted by a return to London.

Fulham's third bid is for Bordeaux attacker Diego Rolan.

The 24-year-old scored ten goals in Ligue 1 last season but could leave Bordeaux.

The Uruguayan international has French top flight experience as well as international caps and European games under his belt.

Huddersfield have reportedly made a bid for F ulham target Steve Mounie.

The Craven Cottage outfit have submitted an offer for the Benin international , but face competition from the newly promoted club, according to the Daily Mail.

They say that Huddersfield have put in a bid of £11.5million for the 22-year-old, which is considerably less than the figure Montpellier have asked for and a similar amount to what Fulham have offered.
