Sky reporting that we've agreed a fee of £4.5m with celta Vigo for Jozabed.

Not so sure on this, as wasn't his clause at the end of his loan spell €4.5m and they thought that was too much??

Sky are so sloppy. The headline for that was "Fulham in for Jozabed." Their "sources" are usually correct, but they're normally late to the party.

Think it may have been a typo, either in currency (€4.5M instead of £4.5M) or a number typo (£3.5M instead of £4.5M). The latter more likely, as you said, they initially balked at €4.5. Mind you, there has been interest from other teams so price may have inflated a bit.

it wads interesting that someone from FFC said all our loan players would like to stay, cant remember where I reads or heard that, could have been drunk at the time, but it was a few weeks ago.

Because we're in talks with a full back from France to come in as a backup. Odoi wanted to leave as he didn't want to play second fiddle to Freddo but as LB is his preferred position he'll get more game time as the senior LB as we all know Sess is destined to play further forward. Freddo won't leave so we just need a backup to him and we dont notice a difference.

If Odoi were our best left-back, Jokanovic would have played him in the starting XI in that position last season. But he didn't.

If Malone departs - and he may not - it will be because either it is felt that Sessegnon can play a full season in that position as first choice or, more likely, Jokanovic wants to bring in an even better full-back than Scott.

To sell Malone and merely move Odoi to left-back will weaken us, not strengthen us.

We had one RB at the club and 3 LB's, why do you think Odoi was backup RB? He said on the the day he signed he was a LB so how does it weaken us to play a perfectly good LB in his preferred position? Malone is better going forward and Odoi defensively, so its better in some ways and worse in others. I'm not advocating not getting a replacement LB as it's perfectly viable, just countering the points that some people are making about how much of a loss it will be.

I noticed that as well, but i put it down to he has now officially returned to Chelsea as the end of June had passed. But then Martin was rmeoved as soon as the season was over, but there could be other reasons for that

Kalas and Piazon came off as their loans ended 30/06, that's literally all it means.
