Have been told that we would like the Waris deal done asap, and not to be surprised if things move very quickly.

Rumour is he has been over already, but was in France last night talking to his club.

Anymore you will know just after me

Nice - wait since 2014 for a striker then two come along in the same week. Come Fulham get this over the line ! A sh!t hot CB to challenge Kalas and Ream and we must almost be there! I will start saving for my season ticket for the premier league.

This guy good? Did you say yesterday it was a bid of around £8m or something like that?
I've heard we bid ten million euros but that's been confirmed this morning as we are prepared to pay between 8 and 10 million euros and would like to move quickly
Every day is a Fulham day

2nd point. We don't exactly splash cash so I assume we are not likely to start now unless we have an injection.
McCormack ~£11m... If Martin hadn't thrown his toys out we were gonna have spent a total of ~£9m for him.

That's correct. And we just paid up to 6m reported for the new man. I think your deluded if you think we are not bound by financial constraints
With the increased parachute money making it all the more difficult to achieve promotion, in my opinion we should ignore FFP this year. It is a 3 year rolling programme and in a sense we have money in the bank - if we don't go up this year we will probably have to sell Sess and Cairney (and others?), that would raise £25M+ which would square the books and we would thus avoid an FFP penalty. We should push the boat out more than we have, if we don't go up this year I reckon there isn't much chance in the next few years, and would Joka stay around?

A lot of money but 29 goals and 11 assists in 72 games for an average team is quite impressive. Plus he's absolutely lightning fast, worth paying 10m for to watch him against Samba and Terry in a sprint.

Cheers for updates mate.
As deeping white said, Lightning pace. 29 goals in 72 Ligue 1 appearances. Consider many of those sub appearances shows you how impressive that is. looks a top signing

I'm so excited about that game. Bruce better not get ideas above his station and play Chester and Micah Richards. Watching John terry cry again will make my life.

Also forgot to mention, he takes penalties almost like a carbon copy of Berba so he'll solve that problem too

it is a rolling 3 years but that also includes the last 2 and in one of those we breached. If we breach again the punishment is more as we have already done so once, so we have to be careful.

My main issue is that QPR have yet to settle their penalty so for me it should be scrapped until they do so

Ordar

With the amount of money on offer in the Premier League now, you're going to see teams just splash the cash in an attempt to get promoted (like Wolves) especially due to the relegated sides coming down and spending 40-60m themselves.

Until they actually punish QPR, I'm not really sure why anyone is adhering to the FFP rules anyway...

Thanks WW.  My gut is telling me that this could develop into another Rolan saga with the player/agent waiting for a Premiership club to call.  Happy to be wrong

I suppose it could depend when the accounts are finalised. Maybe the club could spend another, say, £15M in this window, and if we don't go up sell early in the next window. We missed out last year by not buying a forward in January, don't want to miss out this season as well; it would lead to a break up of the team.

Agree about QPR.

Careful what you wish for - I would not be too surprised to see Terry score from a corner or two against our defense! might well be a case of who outscores who!

The goal of promotion is like a game of snakes and ladders: last year we nearly got there but went down a small snake because we managed to keep hold of Cairney, Sess and other important players. Miss out this year and it will be a bigger snake: the best players will leave and maybe the manager. Please Mr K, spend more money.

Alukoslover

Having watched a fair bit of Majeed Warris during his spell at Lorient, I would honestly be amazed if we could pull of this signing. Would undoubtably score 20+ goals in this division (think Aluko with finishing skills)

Waris? Never heard of him.
Who does he play for?

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=warris+footballer

Cheers...French league 2,about the same level as Port Vale then?  :hook:

He was playing/relegated last year from Ligue 1 if that gives him any more points in your book?

And as someone who has yet to watch Port Vale, I couldn't possibly answer.
