I'm going to assume Jota is a done deal. Can't imagine we'd sell Aluko without having something lined up

Your just quoting what I put up 2 days ago....lol

I'm still not sure why I got my last ban, yet this guy seems to be getting away with this clickbait rubbish consistently.
I don't know why you were banned, but in relation to Charlie Jones, he puts a link to his blog and reciprocates that with a link t the site, that is what we ask people advertising to do, that's a simple explanation. he hasn't broken any of the rules regarding the forum, and as far as I know ha snot received any form of warning either.

Fair do's.  I'll just look for the ignore option.

Cheers!

But does the ignore button also filter out replies to that person's posts?

I find it hard to believe that we will get Jota without other teams being flushed out with more substantial bids. Don't underestimate this lads quality, he is an exceptional player. If we manage to get this deal over the line it will be one of the best signings in recent memory. I am disappointed that Aluko is leaving and believe he is more effective to the team then Ayite and Kebano to date but Neeskens is beginning to adapt to British football. What we dont know regardless of age is whether Kamara will prove more beneficial to us then Aluko.
If we get Jota over the line however Sone will be yesterdays man.

Or are we calling Weds bluff with the Forestieri deal? They want more than 12m. The later it goes the more likely they are to accept an offer rather than being stuck with an unsettled player.

Personally I'd rather Forestieri of the two but both are better than Aluko

Funny its about opinions, I'd rather have Jota any day of the week. Forestieri more of a McCormack type player, rumoured to be a bad egg. Jota younger & surely a better bet just to wind Brentford fans up

PokerMatt

If we sell Aluko, free last summer, for the same price as we bring in the younger, better-end-product but no less exciting Jota then this is the best piece of business in the whole window for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching Sone, but that lack of finishing ability is just too much for me now. I feel he won't click as well in Reading's defensive, negative style of play and we'll be laughing in this deal.

Also would rather Jota to Forestieri. Something about the latter's attitude just doesn't sit right with me.

It will come down to who he wants to play for, he may have already indicated that he would favour fulham and they will have to get the best deal they can from us properly between 6 and 8 as roumered

Is this a new rumour? Bodin's 25, so i can't see him coming to us to warm the bench.

PNE, Cardiff City, Fulham and Hull City all after Bristol Rovers star Billy Bodin

Bristol Rovers' goal scoring midfielder Billy Bodin is wanted by four Championship clubs, according to reports.

The Daily Mail is reporting Preston North End, Fulham, Hull City and Cardiff City are all in for Bodin who has been in stunning form for the Pirates at the start of the new season.

However a fee of just £250,000 is being touted as the starting price for the man who has scored five goals in six games for Rovers this season.
Bodin's good start to 2017/18 continues his great form in League One from last season, scoring 16 goals in his last 28 league appearances, with particularly hot form at the Memorial Stadium, scoring 12 in his last 14 home games.

The departure of Bodin would come as a massive blow to Darrell Clarke's ambitions of Rovers improving on their 10th place finish in League One last season, especially with little time to be able to replace one of his key playmakers and goal threats.

Preston North End are likely leading contenders for his signature due to the uncertain future of striker Jordan Hugill who has today handed in a transfer request, although it has been rejected by the club.

Hmm, dont see him joining us. He's 25 and until last season had barely scored and was released by Northampton Town. Could be worth buying and then loaning out to see how he does and whether his value can increase but I cant see him ever getting on the pitch for us.

Nonsense, the proof it works can be seen in the Aluko situation. What is your reasons for thinking we need to get rid?

Bristol City have turned down bid of 3.5 million from Birmingham and Norwich for Flint.

Why when we are seeing it starting to work and also there seems an actual plan to our selling and buying?
Moneyball has a bad name and is completely misunderstood by many.

Our policy in a nutshell is to make less mistakes in the market than previously. Its not to everyone's liking and the personalities involved may be an issue, but to dismiss out of hand is a mistake.
Just the views of a long term fan

Our manager needs a say to every single singing. I'm against someone else having looking at stats for players and deciding to bring them in on those basis. The only reason it's worked so far is because Joka is a brilliant manager, but I'm sure wed have a better team if Joka did all the signings himself.

Does anyone have any updates on the William remy story?

If we got forestieri, engels, jota and remy all over the line that'd be pretty magical.
