So, unless something unexpected happens, this will prove to be a typical Kahn window in which there is some movement of players, but no money actually spent leaving us arguably no better, or maybe be slightly worse off than we were last season. All the while so many clubs in our division are strengthening their squads quite considerably.  Let's hope for a surprise addition to the squad who can actually improve it rather than hang around on the fringes and then disappear having made no difference.  You know-  the Syriac syndrome. I'm not holding my breath though.

The typical Khan transfer window that ends up with us in the playoffs at the end of the season? Sounds awful, mate.

And some decent investment in the January transfer window could have helped gain us an automatic promotion place.

Explain that one when literally nobody got more points than us from January onwards.
really, you don't think a decent striker in january, would have made a difference in the play offs? Our 4 6 0 formation worked wonders but ultimately fell short

His point was a new Striker could've got us Automatics which just wouldn't have happened. Plus it's not like we missed a boat load of chances vs Reading. Especially 2nd Leg they pretty much shut us down.

That SNAKE Aluko missed a sitter!! ;)

Wolves signing another 10m player. Locadia from PSV. They are really going for broke
And if they fail they really will be broke

If they don't go up they sell Costa and Neves for 40-50 Mill and go again next season with more Mendes clients
Only if Nuno stays

Getting to the time of day where I thik it is very unlikely we will get a permanent signing, unless the player is already at Motspur.

Medicals can be completed after the deadline so deals could still be made. However, Fulham rarely rush transfers.

Santo's only there because their new owner has a "consulting deal" with Gestifute. So basically as long as their new owner's there so will he.

I thought that was only in the prem as they have the system where you can register the intent but have to do that before the deadline. As surely we wuld have done that for Martin last year as we alledgedly wanted to buy.

Serious question....

If we only sign Mollo and Graham are people happy?

If not, I guess it has to be Gayle (which looks unlikely) or Forestieri

I believe it is all transfers that are subject to a medical

Question for those who a month ago stated to me and a few others to stop panicking and moaning, that there is plenty time yet.....Are You Still Of The Same Opinion?

If the window closes and we make no more transfers, I think we have still had a good window so won't be complaining. Wouldn't mind a decent forward and maybe a CB to be a great window.

Considering in that month we've signed Fonte, Soares, Kamara and Ojo, yeah. Only thing we desperately need is a CB

rusty shackleford

If we had kept Aluko id have been very happy with out window. But the fact is we sold him 2 days before deadline and as usual mucked about and made a ba11s of getting a replacement

not the end of world. But first 11 would be weaker than the 11 we had last year imo. Will be peed off if we had 10 plus to spend on a player but couldn't get anyone because the hierarchy messed up

they are yes, but i think its only the prmeier league that can be completed the next day (arsenal with Arsehavin for example) as they lodge have a system whichallows a delay request to be submitted to uefa / fifa as long as all sides have signed it

One of them crocked, another two want be first choices.
We need a little bit extra to get us up.

Keynsham

Why are people STILL whingeing about Aluko when everything points toward the player himself wanting to leave and us receiving a relatively huge offer for him.

It's been a good window.  One that will leave us considerably stronger than last season when injuries and suspensions begin to kick in.

I'm of the opinion of wait all of a few hours and see what's done at the end of the window. I'd like another CB to be pretty damn happy with the window and a CB + a decent forward/winger to be really bloody happy.

I'm slightly nervous as it's the last few hours of business but not panicking nor should anyone be, but that's just my opinion. We have on paper plenty of ability already, so let's see what happens. Ream and Kalas have shown themselves capable of being a top 6 pairing or above since half way through last year but solid competition would be ideal in that position.

i would be underwhelemd given who we were linked too and the fact we probably need a couple more singings to take us up a level

and if they succeed, and fortune favours the brave, they will turn their millions into hundreds of millions. To accumulate you have to speculate.
I do not want to see them promoted at our expense because their actions matched their ambitions. Whilst we look back and say if only. I don't mind them going up with us, but not instead of us. If we don't get a couple more quality players over the line before the deadline, then we may just fall short again, if injuries take their toll, and please no deadwood from deadwood city on a free.
