As great as he has been for them, is he a premier league number 1?
Would Hughton have the contacts/ strength to replace him? He deserves a shot as a premier league number one but wouldn't be surprised if a Valdes/ Krul/ Mandanda keeper , i.e. Big time experience was brought in with Stockdale as a number 2.

Been touched on in other threads but If we don't go up, Betts should have the chance to cement himself as the number 1 unless a top top keeper comes along. Less of the bringing in similar level keepers like Button and Lonergan.
