According to the London Evening Standard, Andy Johnson will be having exploratory knee surgery today. He has flown to the United States to see Dr. Richard Steadman. The surgery will take place in Colorado.

The London Evening Standard has a quote from Roy Hogdson. "There is a risk that he will be out for the rest of the season, but there is also some optimism" Hogdson said. Dr.Steadman is known for his help with Alan Shearer and Michael Owen.

If Johnson is out for the season hopefully the addition of Stefano Okaka in the transfer window will lessen the blow. We should hopefully get some news today if Johnson will need further surgery which could end his season. I am sure Roy Hogdson is hoping for the best, but fearing the worst.

Regardless of the outcome of the exploratory surgery his season, you would think, is pretty much over.

His fitness won't reach a level high enough to run out games and find any form.

Sign him off for this season, get a big preseason into him and hope he doesnt get nailed by another runaway Russian freight train.
At clubs with bigger memberships, their supporters only touch their colours, but at FFC we have spirit. Fulham people can touch that spirit - they are the real Cottagers, they are the club
