Ahhhhh, the lovely BIRDS NEST.

Real geezers never used the phone. We much preferred a person to person every time.
The BIRDS NEST'S were run by WATNEYS and were the forerunner of the Disco.
They had them all over London including Kings Road, Chelsea and York Road, Waterloo which was the best by far. It had fantastic music and stunning "sorts".

Lots of us Fulham boys were regulars at the Waterloo BIRDS NEST on Saturday nights doing our best for West/South London diplomacy which included amongst other things doing the Funky Chicken with the lovelies from Sarf Lundin.
