Macedo had at least 10 u-23 caps (which makes his ineligibility for a full cap the more annoying) but I, as do you!, assume we are talking about full caps.

Barrett, Gale and Davis all had u-21 caps. In fact, I have just read, that Davis was in a full England squad in 2003 but was not used.

I've just seen Danny's reply re. Macedo and it's an interesting question. He didn't get a full England cap because he wasn't considered 'English' but he was English enough to play for England at u23 ten times.
I'll leave that one to the judges!

He was still capped though. It's for players who received no full England caps at all. I had to check Clarke before submitting my eleven. Only 19 caps which surprised me.
