I think medical examinations are a little more sophisticated than the little cough. On the NHS you have an X-ray and go hasn't got the result back for a week or two. I expect it's a little quicker than that but if things are wrong are they likely to be career ending? It all affects the price and negotiations

Media also can take 2 days depending what time you start and how intense they are. Players with an injury record usually have a lot more tests as some are focused on the supposed weaker area.

let's hope this is all wrapped up soon. if he is coming we will all be pleased to see the lad, if not then hopefully there is another in the headlights.
