Money money money

Lots of threads where there is a focus on money spent on transfers. 

The ability to spend money does however not end with transfers.  Wages normally account for your biggest spend, loans are not free and many involve loan fees. 

Our turn over has dramatically reduced in recent years, so our total spend, net transfers, wages and other costs will be under considerable pressure.

When people talk about net spend on transfers, you have to consider the other costs unless you say screw FFP, which clearly the club are not doing.

I agree we probably could have spent more, but I don't think the Aluko sale was planned, so that money should still be available come January.   I suspect we enquired about some good players in the final few weeks, but the money quoted was just too much so we have kept it in our back pockets maybe for January. 

All that said, I hope the FST can ask the question of Ally Mac re our current financial status without him giving too much away, I hope they get a sensible answer.
