Old Sod's Army-Old Brown Shoe

As I said a few days ago I was off to top my tan up on the Isle of Sky. On the way I said I was going to stop off to see Old Brown Shoe who has not been too well but had made a quite miraculous recovery confirmed by an unexpected telephone call from the man himself. And he has defied all the medical opinions. Although he is confined to a wheelchair he is just like the Old Brown Shoe that we know and insult whenever possible. Very alert and sharp on wit I found it quite emotional. Mind you his wife you could not surpass with her dedication to her husband's needs. What a lady she is.   
So OBS is continuing to defy medal logic.

There is a photograph of OBS in the last edition of TOOFIF with a Fulham shirt signed bu last season's squad. The lady in the picture was responsible for arranging this. I would tell you the page number but, having saved the publication to read on my week away, this silly old sod  found that it had been thrown out! Grrrr!
