Old mates

Just been to watch an interview with Jonny Bairstow at the Cheltenham Lit Festival.

He was talking about overcoming sporting disappointment and highlighted our own Tom Cairney.  Good mates apparently from their very early days as Leeds Utd. youngsters.  Jonny highlighted how after being released he (Cairney) knuckled down, got on with it and turned himself into a top player and good pro.  "Look at him now, his captain of a top club!" At this point I got a sly dig in the ribs from my lad!

Very entertaining interview though.  Wish him well for the Ashes.
