How does he not start? I rate him in the very best of our squad. I honestly would prefer him to start over Fonte

I have to say I agree. he looked a lot sharper and made chances, just didn't finish them.

He made space and looked more threatening.

Same reason Piazon was played wide, I assume Fonte supposedly links the play better!

Not saying I agree, just assuming that's the reason he's picked there.

He badly needs to vary his corners..at least 4 hit the first defender and were cleared ..after the first two he should have got the message and then Sess smashes one virtually to the other touchline..beyond frustrating.

I would also currently take Kabano over Fonte.
Right now although I don't rate him, I might be tempted to take Woodrow over Fonte.

I was having similar thoughts about Woodrow and Fonte. Fonte needs time playing with our under seventeens I think.
