I think I will go and get some golf practice, if we give him any more games we won't even be able to get rid of him on a free transfer in January!! Sorry, just my opinion based on everything I have seen, or not seen, this season. At least we have Graham, Cisse and Djalo on the bench (lol).

Maybe he will he benefit from service from Ojo - get on the end of a cross.

I really do hope so, but he has to get in the box first, something we have seen very little of so far this season. If he plays in the old Ruiz position, he might as well be sitting on the bench, or ducking while I throw 1 at him (lol).

Come on, Fonte, be selfish and score some goals for us!

I'll be doing my own analysis of how he plays today, shouldn't take very long!

Have that bottle of Gin ready and waiting in a strategic place.

That was the other reason why I thought I might stay at home!!

Fonte actually has made himself useful this first half.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Matt10

Just hope he gets some chances to take a shot. He's too unselfish. Think he's got to prove he can get some shots off. Glad he didn't take the PK though, we need consistency and Norwood's been that.

@jolslover

Thought he was decent today, Won the pen that led to us winning the game and not sure why people say hes lazy

Piazon wasn't up to much when he first joined, I suppose we can only hope that Fonte is a similarly slow starter.

Didn't Piazon score on his debut though?

I have seen Fonte play worse than today, and he did win a pen.
But even Jok had seen enough and took him off before the hour was up.

While not being a big fan of Fonte he does get involved and can hold of a challenge but his control is lacking for a forward and distribution is not great. I am trying to remember him actually taking a shot, so he needs to up his game in that department.

Matt10

Played fine, but wish he would run at the defense like Ojo does. He held up the ball well, and tried to set up teammates. He made the effort to get across the defender, who pulled him back - down a bit soft, but won the PK nonetheless.

Why Jok put him in a midfield role is beyond me. I would've swapped Fonte with Kebano and try Fonte-Kamra-Ojo combo, then put Edun in for Kebano. Eitherway, good ugly win!
