Wing backs

Let's look at the teams who play wing backs succsesfully. Chelsea.. Madrid etc. These are world class teams. We aren't good enough to do it. It's not even the players faults, they just aren't good enough. If they were they wouldn't play for us. Going forward the wing back are great but they can't get back to to defend properly.

Slavisa has a good plan and with a better team it would work well but we simply aren't good enough to play like this. It makes the defence way too fragile.

We need to switch to a proper four at the back. Sure we won't be as attacking but we will be a lot stronger defensively

I don't think getting in a top CB would actually make a massive difference with this system. We're often left with two at the back. How can we expect to keep clean sheets like that?
