The Swan

Why was this player picked again to start. We must have someone better than him.

Goodbye to top six finish this season. Just maybe we will sign striker in January. 2017,or2018 or2019 or 2020

Darkside

Because, like most others today, he passed the ball backwards or sideways (or lost it)

Going forward doesn't seem to be on his job description, let alone getting anywhere near the penalty box

hmm...that could be said for most of our players.
The system sucks...........
Siblings, let us not be down on it.
One total catastrophe like this...is just the beginning !

Mince n Tatties

Maybe being told to play him as he cost what 8-9 million.
By Christ did Braga see us coming or what😭

@jolslover

Well he was Braga captain and one of their better players in a side playing Europa League football and I believe they were quite reluctant to let him go meanwhile he received rave reviews from all their fans when we signed him.
Maybe its the system that's not working, Not one individual player. He's still doing better than Johansen who most (including me) would regard as a good footballer.

He did have one very good run and shot + a few tackles, but not a lot else.

We might be better to wait for Ryan Sessegnon's son

I don't get to watch many matches here in Australia.  They are always on at 2am.  I got to record this one.  What stood out like dogs balls was Fonte is way out of his depth.  He looks like Bryan Ruiz with even less physical presence.  What a disaster.

Well observed and for some reason we keep on signing these milky players. Jozabed and Soares are two more examples of this.

He has nice hair like Bryan though.  I will give him that.

Well surely a player with a reported £8m price tag must have something that is going to be useful to a mid table Championship team. Well you would think so wouldn't you, perhaps it just takes about 20 games to show and Fonte has only played 17 so we have to be patient.

What about David Ginola?

.he is disappointing to me, but as with many other transfers how do we know the accuracy of the reported fees paid.
Most these days seem to be paper talk rather than club reported and their accuracy has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

YankeeJim

I wonder if Kline had a stat on nice hair? Seems as if nice hair is a sign of a poor player.
