Love sess. Today as ive seen before he was beating the badge whilst applauding the fans. Ok he only has two hands but he took it in turns. I feel a bit cringey singing that song as im sure he wont be here long term but it gives me hope. He was itching for a goal today and got two. The goals he got prove why he should be allowed to linger in the box without so much defending to worry about. I was pounding my badgeless chest as he did. What a gem he is.

Sorry had a few. Wasnt trying to make this about where he plays on the pitch just the dedication and love he has for the club

If we get promoted this year, I think he will stay with us at least a little longer - he loves Fulham through and through. He is truly one of our own.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Scrumpy

I agree. I'm sure non-Fulham fans will say that all players kiss the badge etc, but having been with us since aged 9, Sess is as close to a boyhood Fulham fan as we're going to get. I genuinely don't think he will go anywhere until the Club decides they need to sell. I reckon he'll be saying 'Do I have to go?' and we'll be saying 'Yep, Ryan you need to progress and we need the money'.  :005:
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

There should be a sell out at the final home game this season to catch a last glimpse of our own wonderful talent who I am sure will develop into a mature international player (he already is a fine young man).

I'm grateful every time I see him on the pitch and I'm sure it will be a huge wrench for him to leave, but he has proved recently he is almost ready for the next level.
When he began playing for the first team he was a kid learning his trade and all of us cut him huge slack.
Now he is a pivotal part of  the team and top goal scorer.

We all will have to content ourselves to know, wherever he go's and however much he achieves Fulham will always be in his heart.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

I love all the comments on this tread especially the last two. I can forgive a kiss to a badge when scoring as an accident,  but after the game sess doing it infront of the hammy who sing his name made me smile more than i had in a 6-0 win. Just love the guy. Please stay forever. Pretty please

That is not real life. I want to watch him develop into a international while still playing for us and that means promotion this year. I want to say that we followed his career from the beginning. Wherever he ends up it started here

Nicer person than dembele. Sess signed a contract so at least if he does leave we will get financial gain.

RaySmith

I believe he really does love Fulham and is grateful to the club and fans.

Surely amongest our fans (or their friends and family) there is a composer or lyricist who can come up with something original in tribute to Ryan to replace the tired old MAF songs.

Not too sloppy or sentimental but something heart warming for him to remember.

When he turns 18 we should offer him the biggest contract we can and include a massive buy out clause. We need to appreciate him and protect ourselves at the same time.

With the maturity he already has, I think the young man is thoroughly enjoying playing for the Club he loves in a team that is capable of achieving many good things.  I believe he takes life as it comes and has no thoughts about what tomorrow may bring until he gets there.  He is a very rare gem.

I loved the idea that while football remembered a pioneer of black football, we were singing adulation for Ryan. That has happened in less than one generation.

Like it!

Also, I tend to err on the side of caution when young players are touted as stars of the future, I generally look and think well this or that player has the assets but there's a long way to go.

These players may go on to have good careers etc etc but real STARS? Not often!
Its very easy to get excited about the potential and assume its all going to go to plan and I had similar thoughts about this lad of ours Boy was I wrong, he gets better and better!

Now I say this young man could be playing for the full England team within 2 years.

Have I gone to far now?

Fernhurst

NO------ I agree with you

If I had the necessary time, I could indeed make your wish come true. However, due to public demand, I am currently tied up composing for the Philharmonic Orchestra at the Albert Hall.
Otherwise I would have been all yours

Spuds fans on line urging the club to buy him before someone else...lol

I don't know if he is a Fulham fan but he is great player with a good footballing brain. Whoever is advising him seems to have his development at heart, not their bank balance. In my mind every great player wants trophies so they will never stay with their boyhood team if they cannot provide them. Look at Rooney left Everton, a not bad Prem side, to go to Man U for more money and medals.

So on this premise Ryan will go I think at the end of the season for a substantial fee to one of the top clubs in Europe and we can look back with pride and say he is one of ours.
