I'm as excited as a 70 year old at a Tom Jones concert

I am as confident and excited about our team/squad, style of play, planning, team selection (almost)
man management, motivation, inter-management relationships, commitment by Mr Khan and all the
rest of the good stuff, than I've been for several years (at least 5 or 6)

We are now a team built for promotion, with a lot of loanees, but lots to spend when we reach the Grail.

I am expecting a 2nd place finish, there are a lot of 'fall away teams'

From what I've seen, and that's most games so far, we are by far and away the best and most organized
team I've seen this season.
Of course we've had some crap periods in lots of games and we can't expect to keep scoring 'at the death'
because we've tired out the opposition.
Our pure intensity and dominance (perhaps slightly over-hyped) but basically realistic, is fantastic.
At times we seem "crab-like" "pitter-patter" "back-and-forth" but boy is there frequently a sting in the tongue,
almost like a recoiled rattlesnake that strikes with devastating effect.
We will me more devastating now with a full squad and Top Cat to come back.

Are you going to throw your knickers on the pitch?

If I send them to you, could you do it for me.  I can't reach 3,000 miles  :0)

Bit of decorum please gang, no knicker chucking, whatever would the Riversiders think?
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Don't want to burst your bubble or be negative (I am also very positive about 2nd place finish) but we ain't better than wolves !

The more excited I get the more I feel a bit worried that we will wobble.
I desperately want us to stay on this run and get 2nd but this league has a way of kicking you in the teeth....

:005: beat me to it  :005:

While your waiting for the concert you can use those knickers as a tent. Do watch out for the skid marks.  :005:
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Bound to be  a few hiccups along the way. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.
One game at a time, anyway, and let's hope for a good result tomorrow.
COYW!!!!!

Don't want to add to my reputation of being negative but I feel there are three teams, going very strong, who have two wins on us! Don't see 2nd place being possible myself but in no doubt about a play off place.

Mitro to score the tap in to win the final?

Most of the matches are so close, we need to avoid injuries and for the form and the good luck to continue for 16 matches.
A long way to go yet, time for all kinds of things to happen.
Right now we need a win at Bolton, not easy.
