My Grandson informs me all over social media this morning

Grealish- out injured
Adomah- out injured

I'll only believe it when they don't come out to warm up

The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has confirmed the club have concerns about key pair Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah ahead of tomorrow's crunch promotion clash with Fulham.

In-form Villa head to the capital to take on Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham looking to win eight successive league games for the first time since 1975.

But they may be without two of their star performers with Grealish and Adomah carrying knocks.

Adomah was struggling with a hamstring problem midway through the Second City derby but recovered to fire in the decisive first against Birmingham City.

Grealish is also carrying a slight knock and Bruce confirmed both players will be assessed ahead of the match at Craven Cottage.

He said: "There's a doubt about Adomah and there's a doubt about Grealish unfortunately. We'll see how they both are later today."

Adomah is Villa's top scorer this season with 14 goals while Grealish has been inspirational since his return from a freak kidney injury.

Villa have an otherwise fully fit squad with just long term absentees Jonathan Kodjia (ankle) and Jed Steer (shoulder) on the sidelines.

Villa have now won seven matches in a row for the first time since 1990, following the 2-0 victory over Birmingham City last Sunday, and because of points dropped by Derby County in the last couple of matches they now lie in the automatic promotions places.

With 15 games to play, the claret and blues are well placed, are in a good mood too - they take on promotion rivals this weekend.

If Villa do secure promotion, though, which could well happen against the Rams in the club's final home game of the season, then Xia has promised to Irish dance in front of the Holte End.

Conversing with fan Nathan Henton, who initially tweeted: "Make sure you get a dance ready to perform to the Holte for when we get promoted?", Xia replied: "This is the one I will do. I like it."

Bruce playing mind games?
Agree and if so, it shows they are worried about this one - and so they should be!

EDIT: Just seen on the offal that they are possible absentees!

Grealish was having treatment  on a calf injury yesterday but the chances are high that he will be OK to play.
Adomah is out and unfortunately, as he's the villa player that scares me most, Snodgrass is fit.

I agree with your assessment of Snodgrass. What an interesting challenge for Targett! I assume Snodgrass is still playing predominantly down their right.
But I think Targett is good enough to cope with him, based only on the little we have seen on him so far.

Even if Snodgrass is causing any problems, we just need to double up on him, with Sess and MT, they will snuff him out.

Got the nod and Grealish is 100% ruled out for tomorrow's game!

Be careful they are probably trying to put us off our guard.

Will believe it when I see it. Wouldn't surprise me if both made a miraculous recovery and they were on the subs bench or in the XI tomorrow.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
