Filmed at Craven Cottage

Over the years, I recall the Cottage being used as a location for various programmes, a football movie & possibly an 'It's a Knock-out' many years back.

London Live channel 117 on SKY show low budget & often cheap thrill films from the 1970s. Whilst the films lack finesse, they often capture brilliant shots of 70s London & actors who go on to bigger & better things. Last nights offering 'Monique' was generally poor on all fronts but involved what appeared to be a break in at the Cottage & a kick about on the pitch. Not brilliant footage but it included my perch behind the Hammersmith End goal where many youngsters used to congregate. Great memories.

Peter Sellers 1973 film 'The Optimists' had a sequence of fans arriving at the ground , but from memory for some reason the interior shots were not of Craven Cottage.
Many fans must have recognised themselves as the young boy ran between them from the Bishops Park direction, but I have never seen myself although he ran close to me.
