I know there's lots of talk of banana skins, the boys looking tired and other teams roughing us up but today's kick off times work for us nicely. Millwall kick off early and a win will see them go above Derby. Derby need to find some form quick otherwise they're going to slip. If they do it's good news for us, considering they have to play Cardiff.
Come kick off at Craven Cottage the lads will know exactly what they need to do to keep the pressure building on Cardiff. There are no guarantees in live or football but occasionally fate gives you a push.

TBH, the team thinking should be play 4 win 4, then whatever else happens is beyond their control. 049:gif
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

SuffolkWhite

If the team mentality is we play four Cup Finals, then tired or not the adrenalin should kick in. The players have been saying they want to go up automatically as they remember the Play Offs last year. They will be up for every game.

Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

For me the ideal results would be -
Sheff Utd to beat Millwall
Burton to beat Derby
Boro to draw with Bristol
Norwich to beat Cardiff
Of course us to smash Brentford.

Wonder what the price is for there results?

I think today will go one of two ways

Cardiff lose or draw, the Cottage will be rocking like it was when news of the Villa goal came in on Tuesday, and we will just steamroller Brentford 3-0

OR

Cardiff win and I think there will be real serious pressure, palpable both on the off the pitch, hopefully we still win but it will be a painful, nervy 90 mins and a narrow 1-0 or 2-1 at best

Just my prediction

100% agree with that summary.

Sheff Utd 1-1 Millwall. That's why Sheff Utd won't be making the playoffs, scored, then conceded straight away again.

Shef vs Millwall finished 1-1.Can accept that. Would have preferred Sheff to have won.

Poor result, gives Brentford even more to play for and continues Millwall's unbeaten run.

..FOF..

Cardiff have been getting about 40% possession on average (and consistently) for the past month.

I think that is cause for them to blink first for the race for 2nd spot.

I'm not too worried about Cardiff's result today. They will most likely win today against an "unmotivated" Norwich.

Although, I would be very interested in Cardiff's stats today.

This game really has no relevance on us, if anything, a Millwall win, helps keep Boro out the playoffs. I know people want to break Millwalls run, but, they're serving a purpose at the minute.

Norwich looking to the future, fielding 5 kids today.

Not happy about that but at least Cardiff will not know much about them.

Didn't know Norwich had put out a weak team.
I was there, standing in the Putney end

S.F.Sorrow

Sol Bamba injured. That should weaken the Cardiff defense a bit.

..FOF..

Cardiff is also at 38% possession only.... they are still on track for a downward slide since 1 month ago.

So Colin's team have managed a whopping one shot on target in 55 minutes against an "uninterested" and "weak" Norwich side. Interesting.
(Now watch them score.)
