I guess if we get one in today (Fabri), then its 4 in 2 weeks which doesnt sounds quite so bad. Feel as though we need a starting RB though. Not sure having our back up rightback from the championship being a starter in the Premiership is a great idea! So maybe we need 6 minimum.

I'd like a right back too unless Odoi will be switching  back out there. I'm just not that sold on Christie at all.

Ben, I am talking about players that will be playing in the first team on a regular basis in the Premier League this coming season, or at least will be in the Squad.

With new signings historically taking a while to learn Slav's system (look at the start of last season) my only hope is that we sign 4-5 new starters but that we also get the loans from last year that can play whilst the others are getting up to speed.

He's probably smart enough to realise the transfer window has time to run and that we will sign what we need...

There really is no need to panic yet. Cautious, yes but I won';t be worrying about our squad until the window shuts. It would of been nice to have a full squad for pre season but the transfer window doesn't work like that.....which is stupid to me but hey.

Maybe the reason for taking so long over mitrovic is that we're getting in a replacement first, and then buying him from Newcastle so he'd be cheaper?? Although that would be very unlikely....

With your permission alienix, If I may refer you to my previous emails on Sunday. I did state at least 48 hours, and then in and around next Monday, give or take, allowing of course for the unpredictable movements of the club in times like this.
