Anyone else feeling greedy and still wanting an out and out right winger?  :005:

With Bryan now in, Sess will start LW which leaves both Schurle and AK47 as very credible options for RW 👍

Yeah I think that's more than good enough
I was there, standing in the Putney end

If one figures that Fonte, Cisse, Cauley and Djalo will be nowhere near the first team, that still leaves us with 22 senior pros plus the promising Academy players such as S. Sess, O'Reilly and Fossey to name just a few.

That's a helluva squad compared to what we were promoted with.

The new player who must be feeling most inspired by all this should be Bryan. There's him been bought along with all those big (expensive) names from overseas. If that isn't motivation, I don't know what is. Now let's see what he can do.

COYW!

It wouldn't surprise me if Joe Bryan turns out to be one of our better purchases. Having watched him play against us a few times, I've been impressed and so happy we were able to sign him. He has a bit of an edge to his play and am pretty sure the opposition won't wish to tangle with him.

Good luck Joe and to all of the other newcomers.

Sorry if already mentioned but according to Atletico's official website the Vietto loan includes an option to buy:

"Luciano Vietto has been loaned to Fulham. After joining our club in the 2015/16 season, the Argentine will pursue a new challenge in his career and play in the Premier League. The loan includes an option to buy."

If he picks up his Villareal form he could be some player for us.

When you see it like that you have to think what was put in your drink?
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

What's going to happen to Kalas and Piazon?
They won't get a look into the side at Chelsea.
Off to Europe on loan do you think?

Can still be loaned to Championship teams till end of August

One thing I will say, we're going to be fun to watch this year. Every single player has brought in for a purpose and because they're all technically proficient in their positions. Some of the players we've got I could never imagine playing for us so credit where it's due to the Khans for funding this! Will now be interesting to see how Slav uses the players at his disposal, but I reckon we might have fun this year!

Jamie88

To think quite a few of us were panicking as we crept into July without a single signing!

FulhamStu

If you add in the value of the loan players, their value must be £50 million at least in this market, then we have actually bought in around £160 million of talent.

I thought some fans on here were being unrealistic and frankly a bit greedy to want as many signings as they were hoping for.  Well we have exceeded pretty much everyone wildest dreams, certainly mine.

What an increadable squad we now have, it will take Slav a few weeks, even months to sort out the best starting 11 and get them to properly gel, however once that is sorted we are going to be fantastic.

So obviously some are injured/not available for Palace, but our potential squad this season:

Rico
Chambers Mawson Ream Bryan
Anguissa
Seri Cairney
Sess Mitro Ak47

Subs: Betts, MLM, Christie, Kmac, StefJo, Schurrle, Vietto.

And that's leaving out youngsters, Fonte, Kebano, Ayite etc

Very, VERY excited for this side if they can gell together!

The Intertoto might not exist anymore, but that doesn't matter. We'll still win it again.

CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

I also think as the window stays open for the league and Europe beyond today, we will probably shed a few players who aren't top 22 if you will. Or let a bunch, especially the youth go out on loan.

Gosh we look like a powerhouse all the sudden.

Agree, hope Woody, Fonte and maybe Ayite head out on perms.

More loans for S. Sess, maybe DLT, Kait etc

Totally agree they will just need a little time to Bed in and Gel as a team but after the 1st International break it could be all systems go!!

Well for the last 84days, I have religiously looked to see who we have or haven't signed.
After following the team for the last 46 years all I can say is WOW.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think the last 7 months would see us go on an incredible unbeaten run, get to and win at Wembley, gain promotion to the Premiership and now sign some fantastic players who will make our team even stronger.
Thank you to all those people who have made all of the above possible.
I cannot wait for Saturday and feel sure we will do ourselves proud this season.
