Seeing a few things on Twitter saying we're in for Wilmar Barrios.

Quite a few sources too.

Barrios, Mitrovic, Malcom, Musacchio, Fabri and Augustinsson on top of Seri and Le Marchand would be quite a summer.

Although where would we fit all the talent?

So Ream doesn't get a start? The new guy played left back most of last season. Is the general consensus that ream will be dropped? I'd be very upset if our player of the season didn't at least get a chance to start next season

hmm, don't get me wrong, I do love a big money signing. But if true, why does it always seem like we strengthen our strongest areas, whilst we always seem to over look our obvious weakness

I have to assume that the management are complete blithering idiots, and that they'll have reinforcements for the weak positions coming in as well.

but of the same quality? I'm pretty sure everyone could have lived with keeping our midfield trio in tact, and wouldn't we have all I've liked us to go out and spend best part of 40 million on two center backs?

We would get taken apart in the Prem if Johansen and McDonald were every-match starters. We may have holes elsewhere, but ostensibly upgrading both of them would be a big plus, and creates a ton of quality depth in vital central positions. I'm 1000% sure the club knows it needs a striker (or two?), a RCB, a LB and a GK ... which is why you see rumors attached to us for all of those positions (with Mitro being assumed to be happening)

19 apps at CB, 15 at LB. He is a CB that can play LB, not primarily a LB as you seem to be implying.

Ream plays LB at times as well. He had 30 appearances at LB the season we signed him, which is 3 more than Maxime Le Marchand has played there ever.

He was at Napoli. Played Centre-Back for Espanyol. Think it was Quique Sanchez Flores who converted him.

Thank you for doing the research. Neither fits the style of wing back we require so would you play Ream or drop him? That was the point of my post. Ream had played dcm before but don't hear us saying we don't need back up for kmac because we have ream or that ream is in contention for lb next season. I'm not trying to be assy as everything you have said is spot on, just not really addressing the point I tried to make (failed attempt I give you)

And we've apparently had a bid instantly rejected for David Lopez. Espanyol demanding his buy out clause which is apparently €40m(!).

Over 60 appearances at CB over the last two season, so it is a bit odd that he is listed as a midfielder on their site.

I think might be a rehash of what was going on a couple of days ago, I saw other reports saying the same thing at the time
