Was one of the blokes who knew about Chambers having trained and had his photos done, so I reckon itcould have been legit

I could not say 100% if he can. But you could probably ask that of a few of our players who will be playing on Saturday. You never know for sure until they play there.
In the absence of an alternative, he knows our system, is familiar with the club, is at a good young age, and shows promise.
It appears Jok and the club see something in him, hence the reason why they are still pursuing him, with their attempts to get him on board, and at the same time Southampton appear to be happy to keep him so far.
So unless Fulham have an alternative lined up who is as good or better, I would be more than happy to see Targett in a Fulham shirt again, especially as time is not on our side.

IMHO, our most important need is a LB. A backup striker would be nice but I don't feel is all that critical. I think AK47 is going to blossom this year and could fill in for Mitro. Learning how to muscle a defender shouldn't be that hard for him, given his size. He already has the pace and nose for goal. I like Fonte, just not as a footballer. I don't see him making a contribution this season.

Course, I choose not to be negative.
