Things we need to fix for the PL

This is meant in the best COYWs spirit:

1) Card-able players ... the PL is much less forgiving. Freds and StefJo will need to calm down.

2) Pretty passing at the back ..... we are going to have to be much tighter.  A decent PL team will be all over us ... as per RM / LFC last night. Hudds, B&H  ... have survived by playing pretty much Park The Bus ... Break out footie....    I am not saying abandon the plan but we need to be much wiser to the attacking threat.

3) Clinical finishing ... we all love Mitro and he has been very closely marked recently. We may need another killer striker to stretch defences.

4) IMV the big difference between the Champ and PL is finishing. We have been good/lucky, when we have slipped the attack has been poor (e.g. Grealish yesterday) .... again this is about defence.

The main areas we need to strengthen are exactly the same as the last couple of seasons: Striker, LB and 2x CB + more depth in midfield. We will also need someone to compete with Betts. Button is not good enough for the PL. And that's the bare minimum.

We have relied heavily on loan players so the squad will need a considerable upgrade if we are going to survive. But this time we are free from the restraints of (EFL) FFP rules. This summer window will show if Khan really means business. He will have to spend a LOT more than the last couple of seasons and forget about the "sustainability" model for at least the first season or two in the prem. If not we will most likely go straight back down again.
