Please Help Fellow Fulham Fan

Please help Fellow Fulham Fan Chris Maxim. I met Chris 4 years when we flew from Cincinnati to Jacksonville to watch the pre-season friendly v DC United. Chris is die-hard Fulham fan, and when we would meet fro a game or a beer, he'd always be wearing a Fulham shirt. Two years ago he made "a trip of lifetime" over to see Fulham play at the Cottage.

Chris and Becky have just celebrated their first wedding anniversary and their word has been turned upside down. Chris kept fainting, and went to the doctors for an EKG that revealed an abnormality. After tests at the hospital, they found he has TWO serious heart defects. As a result of this rare condition, he will have to have two open heart surgeries. The condition is so rare that there are only a few surgeons in the USA capable of performing this type of operation.

For those not aware of medical care in the USA, they are potentially facing an administrative and financial nightmare. Even though Chris has medical insurance, and due to the enormity of the operations, it's most likely that all of his costs won't be covered, especially relating to rehabilitation. In the USA 50% of all bankruptcies are due to medical bills and most of those have health insurance!

I'm asking that the Fulham Family come together and help one of our own, not just with a donation, but a message of support. Obviously, both Chris and his family are worried, and words of support from fellow Fulham fans will definitely lift his spirits.
