Or at least got as far as Southgate did. And his exyra experience would have beaten Croatia.

He would have learnt by now not to have Harry Kane take corners.

I have not made a video about this.

Hodgson far too cautious, and strokes his chin too long, which is a characteristic of a person who is afraid to make his mind up. Hence the reason why he has won very little in his career. He has been very close at times, but is far too pragmatic as was shown in the Euros.
I agree he was good at Fulham, and the likes of West Brom and Finland, Switzerland, but they are all unfancied teams who are not expected to win very much.
He never stood a chance at Liverpool. Done well at Palace, got them out of a deep hole,  but that's what he is good at, he is very good at organising the underdog.
Loved him at Fulham, and hoped he would do well for England, and he had the opportunity, but he failed.
I did not like the way he orchestrated his England departure.
But a very nice man, and a Fulham legend.
But for England he was out of his depth.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Sadly...I agree. Southgate has surprised me - he is brilliant at man management and team building as far as England are concerned and if he had a bit more creativity rather than raw pace he might well have got us to the final.

Agree with the creativity part. We missed the injured Jack Wilshire, Adam Lalana and Alex Oxlaide Chamberlain.
But by the time the next Championships come round, one or two other creative players may have broken through the ranks.
