When Football Hashtags go Wrong

Chuba Akpom has today left Arsenal and signed for PAOK in Greece. The club announced it with the hashtag...#AkpomIsHere . Harmless yes

The player however has decided to announce his arrival continuously over several social media sites with the first two letters of his surname AK and the squad number he's picked... 47

Obviously there is the Kamara link and majority of his welcome messages have reminded him that he's just copied off a well known #AK47 and a lot of messsages basically are ridiculing him for it.

However, the main oddity is that PAOK are of course the team whose owner last season ran onto the pitch confronting the referee , making news all over the world as he did so with a gun in his pocket. I'm all for hashtags and social media but that's (without knowing seemingly) opening wounds!
