by stupid foreign owners of Prem teams, it just gets worse. Liverpool now has an increased bid from an Asian bidder. Who gives a sh1t, but I love his motivation:

"His interest in English football stems from his ownership of several Manchester United themed bars in Asia"...

Obviously here is a man of high integrity who fully understands the Prem league and the rivalries...Is he trying having his bars burned down every Saturday?

Players move club but it used to be unthinkable for owners to do the same but not anymore.

Bates, Mandaric, Hamman, Ridsdale, Gold & Sullivan. No doubt others.

I know the "fit and proper" test is a joke but it's hard to see how it could be diferent given the vast sums of money involved and the difficulties in getting that rich honestly.

If this ManU guy from Singapore has cash and is willing to lavish it on Liverpool he'll be welcomed by their supporters.

I don't think any of us doubt MAF's love for Fulham now but at point of acquisition there was a mixture of relief, euphoria and deep scepticism.

Were we wrong to doubt or did he change? My guess is that he fell in love with the club rather than buying the club because of that love.
