for me ive said it before, if we are not creating lots of chances for him, then hes just a passenger. not the first game that has passed him by.  so yes will probably go down as saving his legs or preventing a booking, but im willing to bet its tacticle too. the united defence was coping well with his physical strength so it seemed like the right idea to go more for pace
