My understand is ex-England Right Back Glen Johnson is both homegrown (we have one homegrown spot free) and doesnt have a team so doesn't need a transfer. Can we sign him outside the transfer window? And should we sign Glen Johnson?

And the point of that would be?

He might be better than TFM at right-back off the bench, even if he retired a month ago.

He retired a month ago I believe.
Be ideal for us then, our defence retired at the start of the season.

I think you should say pre-season; cause 9 minutes into pre-season we conceeded a goal against Crawley Town.

Otherwise can't we play with 10 men? Honestly think we'd do better, because we literally are playing with 10 with him on the field.

If he wasn't on the pitch the defenders would be prepared knowing we have no RB. As opposed to being caught out all the time.

Notwithstanding the abuse of the word "literally", but do you really believe that we would be better of playing with 10 men?

Could be the manager is waiting for an easier game to introduce Steve Sess, he may well choose Saturday's game.
